One tip to get you started...

Since I scour grocery ads and usually stock up on items when they are on sale, create a "freezer inventory".  I have a list of typical items such as pork chops, burgers, steaks, bacon, chicken, etc.  Next to each item make a slash (/) for each item with the date written underneath.  When you use the item, turn your slash into an "X" to show it's used.  This helps plan weekly meals without having to dig through the freezer each time wondering what the heck is in there!

 

A second tip...

I can't speak highly enough about Unroll.me (app and website) - clean out your inbox!  You know all those email lists you subscribe to that flood your inbox?  Unroll.me allows you to get all of those "rolled up" into one email that you receive daily (you pick the time to receive that one email).  It's also a super easy way to unsubscribe from lists as well.
